Kiel to Stralsund

"Skipper pipes" original.
All germans love this game! Running for beer.
 The less sportive version...

 Caipi.

 Gusts 9 Beaufort. Big bang!!
Hoisting the german flag again after taking down the danish.
That's what i came for. Nice nice nice!
The guests helping to wrap up the jibs.
 Beautiful bow.
 Night in Warnemünde.
 What's your advice old man?

The engine room of the Seefuchs, a 1958 built DDR Fishtrawler that went as far as Pananma. Beautiful ship! We met them in Sassnitz. They did research diving for the WWF to map the fishingnets that got stuck because of the countless wrecks in the baltic. Very nice crew.
 Seefuchs

Rødbyhavn, Denmark. Stuck in the harbour for two days due to exceptional strong winds and currrents in the Fehmarn belt. Force 8 with gusts up to 10 Beaufort.

Checking the waves from on top the ferry  Rødbyhavn to Puttgarden.
It looks easy, but the wind was so strong, I almost could not stand on the outerdeck!
Putting the Pedro Doncker crewjacket was a good idea. They asked me if I wanted to sea the bridge.
Of course! HIgh tech Hybrid ferry.
 Puttgarden.

Movement in the harbour. Due to the strong currents, the waterlevel went up and down almost 1 meter within minutes. Crazy!

 Ghosttown  Rødbyhavn...

 Finally we could leave.

 Chalkrocks in Rügen.

 Seefuchs

My favourite buoy ;-) Yes Love!
Next day, all the wood got picked up by a coaster.

Citation Frank: "This you can see in every town. Vlaun behind a bananasplit" :-)
Gorch Fock in Stralsund. But she really isn't a georgeous fuck anymore. She feels pretty rotten and they took out almost anything from the inside. Check the waterline...

 Preparing for rough seas...
 Rødby beach. Beatiful nature!

The Zephyr came in after they fought themselves trough the waves and against the currents.

 Mooringline dust... a Rødbyhavn victim....
 Sun after the storm.
